5 days Christchurch, Queenstown, Milford Sounds, Christchurch tours Day(1)Afternoon Pick up at Christchurch International Airport, Transfer to hotel for a rest. Then pick up at hotel have Christchurch city sight seeing. Take a round trip around city, stop at Cathedral Square, Canterbury Museum, Avon river and a drive up to the Port Hills for scenic views of the city. After dinner will enjoy game at Casino or return hotel for a rest. Day(2) After Full Cooked Breakfast at hotel depart for Queenstown, Coach drive cross the Canterbury Plains before arriving at Lake Tekapo lunch . Visit the Church of the Good Shepherd, (Over time, the Southern Alps have slowly eroded creating the great basin now known as the Mackenzie Country. Much of the land is leased to pastoralists who run merino sheep and cattle. The Mackenzie Country is also valuable for providing one third of the country's electricity, in the form of hydro-electricity. The lakes of this region are linked by canals whose water levels are controlled with water regularly drawn off through power station turbines.

In the midst of the Mackenzie Country's wide open spaces is Lake Tekapo. Over 2310 feet (700 metres) above sea level, this lake has an astounding turquoise blue hue reflecting the surrounding mountains. The beautiful blue/green colour of the lake is caused by 'rock flour' which is finely ground particles of rock held in suspension in the melted water from the glaciers that run into the lake. Around the shores of the lake are several hectares of russel lupins in attractive shades of pinks and purples. A few seeds were said to be scattered by an early runholder's wife who wanted more colour in this barren land. Overlooking the lake is the Church of the Good Shepherd which was built with locally gathered stone. From the altar window there is a beautiful view over the lake to the magnificent centre of Mt Cook)After lunch continuing on to Queenstown,drive cross the Lindis Pass on the way stop for photos. arrive Queenstown after to have Skyline Gondola ride to top of hill to enjoy spectacular views of the city and evening view of the Lake Wakatipu.
